AML Policy
Last updated: April 30, 2026
Introduction
Funded Ocean is committed to preventing money laundering, terrorist financing, and other forms of financial crime. This Anti-Money Laundering (“AML”) and Counter-Terrorism Financing (“CTF”) Policy outlines the measures we implement to detect, prevent, and report suspicious activities.
Scope
This policy applies to all Funded Ocean operations, employees, contractors, and users of our platform. It governs all products and services offered by Funded Ocean.
Know Your Customer (KYC)
All users must complete identity verification before accessing funded accounts or withdrawing funds. This includes providing a government-issued photo ID, proof of address, and, where applicable, additional documentation to verify identity and source of funds.
Customer Due Diligence
We conduct risk-based due diligence on all customers. Enhanced Due Diligence (EDD) is performed for higher-risk customers, including politically exposed persons (PEPs) and customers from high-risk jurisdictions.
Transaction Monitoring
We continuously monitor transactions for unusual patterns that may indicate money laundering or terrorist financing. This includes monitoring for structuring, rapid movement of funds, and transactions inconsistent with a customer's profile.
Suspicious Activity Reporting
Where we identify or suspect money laundering, terrorist financing, or other criminal activity, we will file reports with the relevant authorities in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.
Record Keeping
We maintain records of all customer identification documents, transaction records, and suspicious activity reports for the periods required by applicable laws (minimum five years).
Prohibited Activities
Users are strictly prohibited from using Funded Ocean services for money laundering, terrorist financing, fraud, or any other illegal activity. Violations will result in immediate account termination and reporting to authorities.
Staff Training
All employees and contractors receive regular training on AML/CTF compliance, including how to identify suspicious activities and the proper procedures for escalation and reporting.
Policy Updates
This policy is reviewed and updated regularly to ensure compliance with current laws and best practices. Users will be notified of material changes.
